The idea of this page is to show examples of places I’ve been photographing for years (and list the dates I started photographing there). It seems like every time I do something new around town someone is right behind me within a week or two and all of a sudden it’s “Their Style”, “Their Idea”, “Their Look”, their words, not mine. Even to the extent of telling someone they can’t shoot somewhere because that’s their copy righted look. No, I’m not kidding.
On the one hand, maybe I should be flattered. On the other hand, it might be nice to “out” some folks that claim someone’s ideas as their own.
It doesn’t matter either way at this point. I’ve gone as far as to purchase a piece of property specifically for having my own private shooting area. I’ve found a few other private properties that only I am allowed to work and I’ve spent many hours and gallons of fuel finding unique locations so I can offer you unique Portraits.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I don’t steal ideas from others. I DO!!!! But as a conscience, moral decision I will NOT steal ideas from someone in my market area and claim them as original.
